In Magny-en-Vexin, a timepiece always begins with a piece of machinery. Our clocks were born of that gesture: a block of aluminium, a cutter, and an obsession with the hundredth. Each takes its shape from something that turns — steering wheel, disc, propeller, cylinder — and gives it back the only purpose that counts here: measuring time.

The range

Seven mechanics, seven clocks.

Motoring, aviation, motorcycling, sailing. Each model exists in several finishes, applied in the workshop to the machined parts.

One piece, eight executions.

The Three-Blade is the model with the widest choice of finishes in the range. Each colour is applied in the workshop, to the machined part.

The art of precision

01 — Material

Machined from solid.

The aluminium is machined from solid with an extreme demand for precision. Every surface, every edge and every proportion is worked to reveal the purity of the material and to offer a subtle play with light.

Machining is rigorously inspected: dimensions, edges, surface finish.

02 — Movement

An invisible precision.

At the heart of the clock, a high-precision quartz movement delivers steady, regular timekeeping. Chosen for its reliability and discretion, it disappears behind the object so that only what matters remains: the precision of time.

03 — Finishing

Nothing is left to chance.

After machining, every part receives meticulous finishing. Satin-brushing, bead-blasting, polishing or anodising are used according to the surface, to create harmony between material, light and volume.

Manufacturing

From raw block to finished piece.

Design, machining, finishing, assembly, regulating: the clock follows the same path as a watch from the manufacture.

Design

The drawing starts from a real mechanical part: steering wheel, disc, propeller, cylinder. The proportions are reworked until the object stands on its own, on a desk.

Machining

Every aluminium component is machined to close tolerances, guaranteeing perfectly controlled geometry and an impeccable surface quality.

Finishing

Bead-blasting, satin-brushing, polishing or anodising according to the surface. This is the step that decides how the clock will take the light.

Assembly

The coloured parts, the fasteners and the dial come together in the workshop. The bezel is screwed down, the numbered plate fitted.

Regulating

Movement fitted, hands aligned, final inspection. The clock only leaves the workshop once its running has been checked.

The workshop

This is craftsmanship, not mass production.

Even within a series, every part is fitted, lacquered, brushed and finished by hand. That is why no two are quite alike.

There is no polishing robot in the workshop, no finishing machine. We chamfer the edges of the parts at a workbench and apply the circular graining freehand, not on a CNC machine: the finishing therefore carries the hand of the person who did it. Every hand is finished by hand.

Fitting, brushing, painting, masking: everything is done in-house, by qualified watchmakers. It is the same workbench, the same gestures and the same eyes as for our watches.

We have been making clocks for fifty years. Our expertise lies in the design and manufacture of mechanical parts — that is what we do better than drawing beautiful objects.
